Student Selection Process
Applicants and their families must show a strong interest and commitment to the student’s education. The student selection process, which is implemented during the middle months of the applicant’s 8th grade year, is designed to identify students whose needs might be best served by the MetEast philosophy. The Principal and the admission team will review each application and interview all prospective students and their families. Then, applicants meeting the selection criteria who have submitted completed applications are placed in the Qualified Candidate group and enrolled in the school based on a lottery system. Final admission is granted to those students who successfully complete the Summer Infusion. The following criteria have been established as guidelines for the selection process:
