Student Recruitment Process
Overview- A letter and recruitment flyers will be mailed to each school in the Camden City public school district that currently has eighth grade students to establish presentation dates and times.
- A PSA and/or MetEast information will be aired on CCSTV Channel 19 to inform the Camden community about the opportunity for students to attend MetEast.
- As presentation dates are confirmed, the recruitment team will make two presentations at each school to inform eighth grade student and their families. At that time applications will be distributed.
- An Open House will be scheduled to give families an opportunity to get a more in-depth understanding of how the school operates.
- Interested families will be contacted to schedule a family interview.
- The lottery will be conducted on the last Friday in May to select the incoming class.
