Flow of the Week
A Typical Week at MetEast

MetEast students come to school three days a week. During this time students develop strong relationships with their teachers while doing meaningful work, which is focused on the school’s learning goals. On the other two days of the week, students are assigned a mentor and are engaged in internships (LTI), where they become skilled in the real world situations. We do not prepare students for particular careers, rather we are training our students how to think and function in the real world.

We have a culture of high expectations, high quality work and rigorous learning. But the three R’s must stay together. We achieve high levels of rigor because we first build strong relationships and make students’ work meaningful to them. At MetEast, we help students develop the capacity; Skills and ways of thinking that will promote success in college and build their desire to learn more.
